Description
DPetals Lemongrass Essential Oil is steam-distilled from lemongrass, the same grass many of us add to chai. It smells bright, lemony and green. Most people use it in a diffuser to freshen a room, especially in humid months when cupboards and corners start to smell damp.
The 15 ml bottle holds single-ingredient lemongrass oil with nothing added.
Ways to use it: 3 to 4 drops in a diffuser; a few drops in a spray bottle of water as a quick room or curtain spray (shake before each use); 2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil for a fresh foot massage; or with peppermint and eucalyptus in a diffuser.
Lemongrass oil can irritate sensitive skin, so dilute it well and patch test first. Not for internal use. Keep it away from eyes, children and pets.
Storage: keep the cap tight and the bottle away from sunlight and heat. Citrusy oils like lemongrass lose their freshness faster once opened, so use it within the date on the pack.

What is lemongrass oil used for?
Mostly as a room aroma in diffusers and DIY sprays, and diluted in massage blends.
Does lemongrass oil keep mosquitoes away?
Its scent is popular in home repellent blends, but it is not a tested insect repellent. Use a proper repellent where mosquito-borne illness is a risk.
Can I put lemongrass oil on my skin?
Only well diluted: 1 to 2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil, after a patch test.
What blends well with lemongrass oil?
